The Complaints Department hopes to see you in 2026!
We're working on the demos for a new mini-album, hopefully to be released sometime in 2026. And we need a new band photo. Since Nate became a father, things have slowed down with the band and sped up at his house.
We'll continue to raise awareness and funds for TELL, a mental health care and suicide prevention non-profit based in Japan. We've got two shows planned for TELL on February 13th and May 1st, both to be held at What The Dickens pub in Ebisu, Tokyo, with more to come after the summer.

The Complaints Department is known for their version of 'pop' and 'punk', often compared to Green Day with a little more pop. We combine elements of rock, pop, and indie music. Live performances are characterized by:
High Energy: Expect an atmosphere filled with engaging music and lively interactions, and covers mixed with our own originals.
Audience Engagement: The band often invites the audience to dance, and sometimes grab a mic and sing one of the cover songs.
Diverse Setlist: We know people like to dance and sing along with songs they know, so we always aim for blend our versions of popular music with original songs.
A Message: We encourage our audiences to be good people and try to bring to light issues that are impacting our world today; we don't preach.
Beer: We love beer. You will never see us perform live without beer.
